The published module prices

vCIOToolbox sells two product lines and lets you bundle them. Prices are stated as starting points, so treat them as a floor rather than a quote.

  • vCIOToolbox QBR, the OnPoint account-management module: from $149 per month. The initial bundle includes five active clients.
  • Cybrance GRC, the governance, risk and compliance module: from $99 per month, starting at a single client.
  • Cybrance GRC plus Policy: from $140 per month, adding policy management with 30-plus frameworks and 40-plus IT policies.
  • RampCamp accelerator: $2,997 one time. A ten-session instructor-led onboarding and coaching programme that includes 90 days of the QBR, GRC, or bundled module.
  • Trial: a 15-day free trial with a 60-minute strategy call, no credit card required.

The active-client bundle is the meter

The QBR module's $149 entry point includes five active clients. That word active is doing real work: it is the accounts you are running reviews on in a period, not every client on your books. For an MSP running formal quarterly reviews on ten to fifteen strategic accounts and lighter service reporting everywhere else, that unit fits the way the work is actually done. For an MSP that wants a review on every client, it is a per-client price wearing a bundle's clothes, and you should get the rate above five in writing before you compare totals.

03

What the RampCamp fee is really buying

The $2,997 accelerator is a training programme, not a software installation. That is an honest and unusual thing to sell, and it reflects the product's actual centre of gravity: vCIOToolbox is a methodology with software attached, aimed at MSPs who do not yet run a vCIO practice and want one designed for them. If that describes you, the fee may be the most valuable line on the invoice. If you already run reviews and simply want the assembly work removed, it is $2,997 for a process you already have.

04

What the product covers that a reporting tool does not

Assessments and compliance. The assessment template library with a recommendation engine, the NIST CSF and CMMC and HIPAA frameworks, the risk register and the POA&M management are a real body of work, and no reporting tool replaces them. If your reviews are anchored on a security-framework assessment, this is the shape of product you want, and the module pricing lets you buy the GRC half alone at $99 to test that theory.

How QBR Studio prices against it

QBR Studio charges a flat monthly price that does not move with your client count, and we quote it per MSP rather than publishing a rate card. That is a deliberate asymmetry on a page like this one and worth naming: the vendor figures above are theirs and published, ours is not. There are unlimited clients rather than an active-client bundle, no setup fee, and no onboarding programme to buy separately. The tradeoff is scope: QBR Studio computes service, SLA, asset and budget evidence from your PSA and turns it into a client-ready review with a commitment ledger. It does not carry a compliance framework library or a risk register, and if that is what your reviews are built on, vCIOToolbox is the better fit at any price.

Product boundary

Keep recommendations reviewed and evidence explicit

QBR Studio computes service metrics and drafts client-facing summaries from connected data. Your MSP reviews the evidence, chooses every recommendation, and approves the final report before a client sees it.

Common questions

What MSP teams usually ask

How much does vCIOToolbox cost?

As published on September 8, 2026, the QBR module starts at $149 per month and includes five active clients, Cybrance GRC starts at $99 per month, and GRC with policy management starts at $140. The RampCamp onboarding accelerator is $2,997 one time. All are stated as starting prices.

How many clients does the $149 plan include?

Five active clients in the initial bundle. Active means accounts you are actively running the review process on. Ask for the published rate above five before comparing it with a flat-priced tool, because that rate is what decides the comparison at thirty clients.

Is RampCamp required?

It is sold as an option rather than a requirement, and vCIOToolbox offers a 15-day free trial with no card. It is a coaching programme for MSPs standing up a vCIO practice, so its value depends entirely on whether you already have one.

Does vCIOToolbox include compliance frameworks?

Yes, in the Cybrance GRC module rather than the QBR module. Its published scope covers NIST CSF, 800-171, CMMC, CIS, ISO 27001 and HIPAA assessments with a risk register and POA&M management. That is a genuinely different product from a client-reporting tool.
