Why MSPs look for a myITprocess alternative

The comparison focuses on the reporting job, the commercial model, and the implementation tradeoffs rather than claiming every MSP should switch.

  • A published price you can compare today: myITprocess pricing is demo-gated, so building a business case means booking a call first. QBR Studio is a flat monthly price with unlimited clients, month-to-month, and we give you the number in the first conversation rather than after a qualification call.
  • The review is the starting point, not the finish line: myITprocess produces a roadmap once your standards library and alignment assessments are in place. QBR Studio computes service, SLA, asset and budget evidence from the PSA you already run and produces a client-ready review before you have configured anything.
  • No suite to join: myITprocess sits inside IT Glue and Kaseya, and its roadmap belongs to that platform's strategy. QBR Studio is independent and month-to-month, which means it has to keep earning the subscription rather than being bundled into a renewal.
  • Decisions carry across quarters: Recommendations move through proposed, approved, declined and done, and the next review opens with their status. That record is what makes the retainer defensible at renewal, and it does not depend on a standards framework being complete.

When to stay with myITprocess

Stay with myITprocess if your reviews are built on a formal technical-standards and alignment methodology, especially if you already run TruMethods or a similar framework and your IT documentation lives in IT Glue. The standards library and the assessment engine are the product, and QBR Studio does not replace them. Our page is for MSPs whose problem is that the review itself does not get produced.

Product boundary

Keep recommendations reviewed and evidence explicit

QBR Studio computes service metrics and drafts client-facing summaries from connected data. Your MSP reviews the evidence, chooses every recommendation, and approves the final report before a client sees it.

Common questions

What MSP teams usually ask

How much does myITprocess cost?

IT Glue and Kaseya do not publish a myITprocess price. Every pricing route on the product page goes to a demo request, so a quote is the only way to get a figure. We are not going to guess at one. Ask for the total first-year cost in writing, including any IT Glue licensing the tool assumes you already have.

Is myITprocess part of IT Glue?

Yes. It is presented as IT Glue's IT strategic planning tool and sits within the Kaseya portfolio alongside IT Glue, MyGlue and Network Glue. That matters commercially, because it usually means the purchase is discussed as part of a wider Kaseya relationship rather than on its own.

Can QBR Studio import my myITprocess standards?

No, and it would not use them. QBR Studio does not run a standards-and-alignment model. It reads your PSA directly for service, SLA and asset evidence and turns that into a client-ready review. If the standards library is the part you value, that is a genuine reason to stay.

What if I want both a standards framework and faster reviews?

That is a reasonable position, and some MSPs run an alignment framework for their internal process while producing the client-facing review somewhere else. Get in touch and run us on a couple of your accounts alongside what you have, then compare the artifact your client actually receives.
