A note on how current these figures are
Honesty first, because pricing pages move. The figures in the next section are carried from our July 2026 review recorded in docs/POSITIONING.md. On September 8, 2026 connectwise.com refused automated fetches, so we could not re-verify them on that date the way we re-verified CloudRadial, ScalePad and vCIOToolbox. Treat them as a July 2026 reading and confirm the current quote with ConnectWise before you build a business case on them.
The pricing structure, as reviewed in July 2026
Three components, and only the first one is usually in an MSP's budget line.
- Plan: from $335 per month billed monthly, or around $300 per month on an annual commitment. The entry plan includes two data sources.
- Additional data sources: $98 per month each, beyond the plan allowance.
- Implementation: a one-time $499 fee.
- Contract: month to month is available at the higher monthly rate.
What your real integration count does to the number
Two included data sources covers a PSA and an RMM. Most MSPs have more than that connected before they have finished onboarding the tool.
- PSA and RMM only: the base plan, so roughly $335 per month plus $499 once.
- PSA, RMM and backup: one extra source at $98, so roughly $433 per month.
- PSA, RMM, backup and a security tool: two extra sources, so roughly $531 per month.
- Add Microsoft 365 and a documentation tool and you are at four extra sources, roughly $727 per month, before the first client sees anything.
The platform question you are also buying
BrightGauge was renamed Reports and Dashboards, moved behind mandatory ConnectWise SSO, and its standalone support portal was retired in November 2025 while the product is rebuilt inside ConnectWise's Asio platform. No end-of-life date has been announced. This is not a reason to panic, but it is a reason to ask a direct question in the sales conversation: what does my instance look like after the Asio migration, and what is the timeline. A tool whose roadmap belongs to a platform strategy is a different purchase from a tool whose roadmap belongs to the tool.
Dashboards are not client reports
This matters more than the price. BrightGauge is excellent at internal operational dashboards: tech leaderboards, dispatch boards, wallboards, live service metrics for people who already understand the metrics. A client-facing quarterly review is a different artifact. It needs an executive summary in plain language, a graded environment, a budget attached, and a record of what was agreed last time. Gauges are the raw material for that, not the output. If you are buying BrightGauge to fix the QBR, budget the hours you will still spend assembling the story.
How QBR Studio prices against it
QBR Studio charges a flat monthly price that does not move with your client count, and we quote it per MSP rather than publishing a rate card. That is a deliberate asymmetry on a page like this one and worth naming: the vendor figures above are theirs and published, ours is not. There are unlimited clients, no setup fee, and CSV import that never counts as a data source. Data sources are included by tier rather than metered one at a time, so a normal MSP stack does not add a line per tool. The product's unit of output is the finished client review, not a gauge library. It is not a wallboard and does not try to be.
Official sources reviewed
Product, feature, and pricing details were checked against these first-party pages on September 8, 2026. Verify the current quote and contract before purchasing.
Keep recommendations reviewed and evidence explicit
QBR Studio computes service metrics and drafts client-facing summaries from connected data. Your MSP reviews the evidence, chooses every recommendation, and approves the final report before a client sees it.
What MSP teams usually ask
How much does BrightGauge cost per month?
As reviewed in July 2026, plans started at $335 per month billed monthly, or around $300 per month on an annual commitment, with two data sources included and $98 per month for each additional source, plus a one-time $499 implementation fee. We could not re-verify these figures on September 8, 2026, so confirm the current quote with ConnectWise.
Does BrightGauge charge per data source?
Yes, beyond the allowance in your plan. That is the line most likely to make the real bill diverge from the budgeted one, because a normal MSP stack of PSA, RMM, backup, security and Microsoft 365 is five sources, not two.
Is BrightGauge being discontinued?
No end-of-life date has been announced. It has been renamed ConnectWise Reports and Dashboards, moved behind ConnectWise SSO, and its standalone support portal was retired in November 2025 while its capabilities are rebuilt inside the Asio platform. Ask ConnectWise directly what your instance looks like after that migration.
Can BrightGauge produce a client QBR deck?
It can produce scheduled report exports from your gauges and dashboards, which is not the same thing as a client-ready business review. The executive narrative, the graded environment, the refresh budget and the record of prior commitments are still assembled by you.
