Why there is no price list to find
ScalePad acquired Lifecycle Insights in 2023. ScalePad's own site now presents Lifecycle Insights and Lifecycle Manager X together, with X as the strategic-planning and executive-engagement tier of Lifecycle Manager. If you are looking for a Lifecycle Insights quote as a new customer, the answer you will get is a Lifecycle Manager quote. Any Lifecycle Insights price you find in a blog post from 2022 or 2023 is a historical figure and should not be used to budget anything.
The price that actually applies
Lifecycle Manager's published rates, read from scalepad.com on September 8, 2026, are what a Lifecycle Insights customer is being costed against.
- Lifecycle Manager Pro: $10 per managed client per month, with a $250 monthly minimum covering up to 25 clients.
- Lifecycle Manager X: $25 per managed client per month, with a $250 monthly minimum covering up to 10 clients. X is the tier that carries the strategic planning and executive engagement capability.
- Free tier: one client, described as free forever.
- Term: all plans require a 12-month contract, billed monthly.
Cost the migration, not just the licence
A platform move has three costs and only one of them is on the invoice. There is the licence difference, which you can compute from the rates above. There is the rebuild: assessments, templates, roadmaps and report layouts you configured in the old tool do not travel intact, and someone on your team spends days rebuilding them. And there is the client-facing cost: the review your client has seen every quarter for three years changes shape, and the first meeting after a migration is spent explaining the tool instead of the business. Put a number on all three before you decide whether to migrate or to re-evaluate the category.
This is the moment to re-evaluate, not just to migrate
A forced platform move is the cheapest time you will ever have to ask whether the category still fits. You are already paying the rebuild cost. If you are going to redo your assessments and report layouts anyway, do it in whichever tool you would choose today rather than defaulting to the successor. Run at least one alternative on real client data during the term you have already paid for, because that is the only test that tells you anything.
How QBR Studio prices against it
QBR Studio charges a flat monthly price that does not move with your client count, and we quote it per MSP rather than publishing a rate card. That is a deliberate asymmetry on a page like this one and worth naming: the vendor figures above are theirs and published, ours is not. The arithmetic that matters is on the published side: Lifecycle Manager X at $25 per client is $1,000 per month at 40 clients, and it rises with every client you add. A flat price does not. What QBR Studio does not carry is ScalePad's depth of fleet-wide warranty enrichment and asset grading, so if that is the half of Lifecycle Insights you actually used, weight that heavily.
Official sources reviewed
Product, feature, and pricing details were checked against these first-party pages on September 8, 2026. Verify the current quote and contract before purchasing.
Keep recommendations reviewed and evidence explicit
QBR Studio computes service metrics and drafts client-facing summaries from connected data. Your MSP reviews the evidence, chooses every recommendation, and approves the final report before a client sees it.
What MSP teams usually ask
How much does Lifecycle Insights cost in 2026?
There is no current standalone Lifecycle Insights price list. ScalePad, which acquired the product in 2023, presents it alongside Lifecycle Manager X, whose published rate on September 8, 2026 is $25 per managed client per month with a $250 monthly minimum, on a 12-month term.
Is Lifecycle Insights being discontinued?
ScalePad presents Lifecycle Insights and Lifecycle Manager X together and positions X as the strategic planning tier of Lifecycle Manager. Ask ScalePad directly for the support and roadmap commitment on your specific instance, in writing, before you renew.
Do I have to migrate to Lifecycle Manager X?
That is a question for your account manager and your contract, not for a comparison page. What we would say is that if a rebuild is coming either way, that is the right moment to test the category rather than to assume the successor is the answer.
What does a migration actually cost?
More than the licence difference. Budget the rebuild of assessments, templates and report layouts, and budget one client meeting per account spent explaining a new format. Those two together usually exceed the first year's price difference.
